Our association with our Solidarity project Per Una Vita Attiva dei Sordi Senior has been the winning team under the Solidarity and Volunteering category of the SALTO Awards 2021.
Per una vita attiva dei Sordi Senior was a programme led by six young deaf millennials with a mission to train the older generations of deaf people to use online banking and other relevant digital services at home, thus gaining access to information and skills required in this digital age. This solidarity project aimed to teach elderly deaf how to use digital tools like social media, online banking etc. And the innovation was the fact it was deaf young people taught the elderly how to use these tools.
