Today, we are glad to share with you the project results of Erasmus + project “Young D/deaf and the Inclusive Challenge in Europe”.
Youth D/deaf people and inclusive Challenges in Europe is a Youth Exchange project n° 2020-1-IT03-KA105-18053 co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission who takes place from June 26 to July 03, 2021, at Pianezza (TO), Italy.
The project involved 36 young D/deaf people between 16 and 29 years old, 8 accompanying person (Sign Language Interpreter) and 4 group leaders from Italy, Greece, Slovenia, and Poland.
The objectives of the project were:
The promotion of outdoor activities.
The promotion of sports activities with a social function.
Respect for cultural diversity.
The promotion of social inclusion within society.
The promotion of healthy lifestyles.
Encourage participation in physical activity and leisure activities.
Facilitating access for participants with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities than their peers to mobility programmes.
The use of informal and non-formal learning tools.
